Directions & parking

By U-Bahn (recommended): U3 to Oskar-Helene-Heim, the clinic is just a few minutes' walk away.

By bus: lines 115, 285 (stop Clayallee/Oskar-Helene-Heim), N10 (night bus).

By S-Bahn: S1 to Zehlendorf, then bus 115 or 285 directly to Clayallee/Oskar-Helene-Heim. Alternatively: S1 to Lichterfelde West, then bus M11 to U Dahlem-Dorf.

By car: the clinic is located directly on Clayallee. A paid parking garage is available on the clinic grounds, with further parking on the surrounding streets.

Feedback

You will receive a questionnaire on admission. A patient suggestion box is also available on the first floor for praise, criticism and suggestions.

Admission

Admission takes place on the day of surgery. Please bring your insurance card, an ID card, the hospital referral, and any existing X-rays and medical reports – as well as any prescribed orthoses or braces, if applicable.

Accompanying persons

By arrangement and for an additional fee, accommodation for an accompanying person is possible – with priority given to surgical patients.

Visiting hours

Visits are possible daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Meal choices

A different lunch menu is available to choose from every day. Special diets can be arranged with the kitchen.

Television

All rooms are equipped with a television connection.

Patient advocate

As an independent representative bound by confidentiality, our patient advocate is available for concerns outside of your treating doctors.

Smoking

Ward doctors

Responsibility for your treatment lies with your operating visiting consultant. The ward doctors support your care during your inpatient stay.

Telephone and internet

Every bed has a telephone connection, and Wi-Fi is available. The use of mobile phones is not permitted in designated areas.

Optional services for private patients and self-payers

Single and twin rooms with additional amenities are available as an optional service, including juice, a daily newspaper and a fruit basket.

Valuables

We accept no liability for valuables brought with you. Safes are available on site.
